The Alpha White Coat Gala for a Cause 2026 is more than an evening of celebration — it is a curated gathering of 500 distinguished leaders, professionals, and philanthropic partners united by a shared commitment to excellence, service, and lasting community impact. Through partnership, leadership, and philanthropy, the Alpha White Coat Gala for a Cause advances initiatives that support education, mentorship, and community empowerment.

• This distinguished gala and weekend is proudly sponsored by the Zeta Beta Charitable Foundation (501(c)(3)) and honors the Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., while commemorating the 60th Chapter Anniversary of the Zeta Beta Chapter.
• The Zeta Beta Chapter is home to exceptional leaders and trailblazers, including Ferris State University Board of Trustees Executive Committee Member Bro. Ron Snead '68, 2026 NFL Super Bowl Head Referee Bro. Shawn Smith ’93, and acclaimed singer, songwriter, author, philanthropist, and screenwriter of All the Queen’s Men, Bro. Christian Keyes ’95.

The 2026 Alpha White Coat Gala for a Cause will focus on raising awareness around Teenage Homelessness and Teenage Mental Health within the Grand Rapids and West Michigan communities. This year, we are proud to partner with Arbor Circle – West Michigan, with a portion of all ticket sales donated to support their vital work and mission.
