Description
Day 1:
- Pollinators - Bees & Butterflies
- Make a bee magnet from buzz crafts
- Use chalk pastels and tempura paint to create a butterfly on a small, stretched canvas
- Learn about the ecosystem and pollinators role
- Story time
Day 2:
- Pirates & Parrots
- Pirates will be colored from a printed coloring page
- Parrots will be created on card-stock paper or paper plates, then feathers added
- Story time
Day 3:
- Unicorns & Dragons
- Children will paint a unicorn with their selection of colors
- Young ones will create a paper Chinese dragon puppet
- Story time
Day 4:
- Summer Sun & Beach
- Paint the Sun using watercolors
- Drama: Intro to Acting by having a sunny day at the “beach” (bring sunglasses, beach towel) Beach toys will be provided!
- Story time
Day 5:
- Farm Animals & Aquarium
- Jungle animals with pipe cleaners (snakes) — alternate, a sea turtle
- Make a mini aquarium in a plastic mason jar
- Story time
- Potential visit from a local pet shop
- Graduation day ceremony with ribbons!
