JQT Vancouver is thrilled to present the hit queer/Jewish podcast: Yenta! Hosts Raye Schiller and Antonia Lassar- genius comedians and internet sensations- are bringing their live comedy experience to Vancouver. Expect a little comedy, a little Torah, and a LOT of gossip. Audience members will be invited to anonymously submit their juicy secrets, which will be discussed live with love and admiration.
This show is about redefining what it means to be queer and Jewish. It’s not just about Pride and Lesbian Rabbis. It’s also about being incredibly hot.

Accessibility and washroom info - While this event is geared towards Jewish, queer and/or trans community members, this event is open to all over the age of 18. Programming will take place at St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church, located in downtown Vancouver. The main entrance is at 1009 Burrard (there are about 15 steps). The church is wheelchair accessible directly off the sidewalk at 1010 Nelson Street. There is an accessible washroom and accessible entry into the cathedral. Some washrooms have stalls, and there are three single use washrooms. All washrooms at the church are non-gendered. If you need assistance, please email bookings@standrewswesley.com well in advance!
Parking and transit info - If you plan to drive, there are parking meters around the building as well as a parkade on Henshaw lane (approx. $6/hour). If you're arriving via transit, there's a bus stop directly in front of the building (002, 044, and N22 routes).

Antonia Lassar is a comedian/actor/hot person who blew up on The Jewish Internet with her viral TikToks. Her comedy has been featured by Just For Laughs, Glamour Magazine, USA Today, and, obviously, Hey Alma. You can catch her performing with the iconic UCB Theatre, co-hosting the Yenta Podcast, or crushing standup in LA and your mom’s synagogue.

Raye Schiller is a queer, ex-Orthodox Jewish comedian and writer from New York, based in Los Angeles. Raye has been featured in the New York Post, headlined at the NY Comedy Festival and has performed standup around the world, including London, Lisbon, Paris, and Peru. Raye hosts the popular comedy podcast “Yenta!” and boasts a devoted social media following with millions of views on their standup clips. For no good reason, Raye also has a Masters in Computer Science from Cornell University.
