Description

Western Slope Cowboy Gathering
November 6–7th
Celebrate the enduring spirit of the American West at the Western Slope Cowboy Gathering, a two-day celebration of authentic cowboy poetry, music, storytelling, and western heritage.
The gathering opens Friday, November 6, with award-winning singer, songwriter, and fourth-generation Texas Panhandle rancher Dale Burson. A master of guitar, banjo, mandolin, and fiddle, Burson has entertained audiences at cowboy gatherings across the country for more than three decades. His heartfelt songs, recorded by artists including Red Steagall, honor the timeless western values of honesty, integrity, faith, hard work, and the ranching way of life.

On Saturday, November 7, acclaimed cowboy singer-songwriter Ryan Fritz takes the stage. A working rancher whose music is deeply rooted in real-life cowboy experiences, Fritz draws inspiration from the landscapes, people, and traditions of the West. Winner of the 2017 Wrangler Heritage Award for his song Keeper of the West, Ryan has released ten albums filled with vivid stories of ranch life, family, and the enduring cowboy spirit.
Throughout the weekend, audiences will enjoy performances by talented cowboy poets and western musicians from across the region, sharing stories, songs, humor, and traditions that preserve the rich heritage of the American West.
Whether you're a lifelong ranching enthusiast or simply appreciate authentic western culture, the Western Slope Cowboy Gathering offers an unforgettable weekend of music, poetry, fellowship, and the traditions that continue to shape the West.
