A really fun event! I think having a professional MC really added something, and freed the hosts of that job!
Having the extra space on the additional floor was great.
Maybe have a rule that if you win one prize that’s it, you get one prize?

What an amazing evening with the most creative people!

First off, it was an excellent event — truly well done! Please take the following only as positive and constructive feedback, because a lot of hard work clearly went into making it happen.

The venue was fabulous, although accessibility may have been challenging for some attendees. It would also be great to introduce the team behind the event so people know who put in all the work.

A few more chairs throughout the venue would have been appreciated.

One suggestion from our group: having the drink ticket also apply to non-alcoholic beverages. Three out of the four of us don’t drink alcohol, so soft drinks or juice options would have been nice. I also would have happily paid a little more for extras like a grazing table and complimentary soft drinks/juices.

For the prizes, it may be worth dividing them into a larger number of smaller prizes so more attendees have a chance to win.

The prize draw portion also felt a bit too long by the end of the evening. While I understand the goal was to keep people for the swag bags and prizes, after the first 90 minutes most attendees had seen everything and were mainly waiting around, and the audience energy definitely dropped.

There may also be opportunities for additional sponsors. Companies like Wonderful, Aurifil, and Schmetz are often very supportive of quilting and creative events.

One final idea — announcing next year’s theme at the event would create excitement right away.

Overall though, it was a fantastic event, and the effort from everyone involved absolutely showed.

Fun event, great excuse to make things and dress up, nice to chat with other sewists. But felt very overpriced - I get that the venue is expensive, especially with the two floors, but $90 for a glass of wine and a fat quarter of (albeit very nice) cotton in the goodie bag was a bit much. Need more seating in the quiet area next year. Maybe a facilitated discussion or speakers or something would make it feel like it was worth the price?

I had an amazing time! I loved the host and dj this year and the many prizes.
I'm not sure about the vendors on the lower floor. It would've been great if they were on the same floor where most of the event took place so they can enjoy the experience as well and for attendees to have easier access to go to the booths while still having fun.
The food was tasty, would've loved to have a bit more as I didn't see the waiters serving often. Maybe buffet style can be considered in the future if there's space to have a buffet station.
But overall it was a wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to attending next year!

The MC this year was very entertaining. I enjoyed the appetizers. It was much better to have the 2 floors for the event. I participated in an ice breaker which was nice and there were some unique tables selling things also. There wasn't as much in the take home bag this year?

The evening was just as I had hoped. Everyone was in great spirits. The venue was ideal. It was fun to have the two floors. The vendors were awesome. The food was scrumptious. We devoured the adorable sliders. Loved the lemon custard donuts too! Our beautiful MC led us expertly thru a delightful evening. Everyone was so happy to be together. It was a great experience. I look very forward to next year!!

Many more chairs, especially during the prize giveaway portion. Those people needing chairs moved to the stairwell

I had a great time! I specially loved the two different spaces this year and Bella was so much fun!
I appreciate the quieter downstairs and took multiple noise breaks throughout the night, definitely a great idea to be able to converse and chat with people. But I want to note also that the music was bomb! Love! First time I see people dancing at Frocktails!
I would like to point out two things that in my opinion could be improved for the future. The first one, sitting options. As someone that can’t stand for long periods I had a hard time because it was difficult to find available sitting to take breaks, specially during the raffle. I am paying the prize today with very painful knees :-(
The second is more of a suggestion in reference to the raffle. I think the current system is great and you always make it work smoothly but the fact that this year two people got 4 of the available prices feels a bit unfair even if it’s just by chance. My suggestion would be to include a disclaimer that you can only get 1 prize and to surrender the rest of your tickets. This way more people have the chance to win and the joy spreads a bit more.
Again, I think the event improved considerably from past years and you all did an amazing job and were very generous with your time and talents. Thank you so much!

Great event, loved the MC, compared to last year I liked the quieter area to hang out plus more space, but was sad the drink ticket only applied to white wine. The prizes were great, though I would rate the goodie bags as less impressive than last year. All around a great time.
