The magician Prospero has lived on an isolated island, along with his beautiful daughter and the magical spirits he has tamed to be their servants, ever since he was banished from the city he once ruled.
When his treacherous brother sails by the island, Prospero wrecks the ship with a magical storm, intent on gaining revenge. But his daughter Miranda soon falls in love with one of the young aristocrats in the party, and perhaps opens the door to both family reconciliation and justice.
..everything about the production was excellent. I was amazed at how professional the production was. I can't imagine the actors could have been better. I have attended productions in New York, Washington. What a gift to be able to experience this fine a job in my own backyard. I will certainly attend further productions.
A wonderful production full of talented, kind people!
The acting, costumes and set were all very good! I thought Miranda and Prospero were excellent. Sometimes it was hard to hear/understand Ariel bc she speaks quickly (but did awesome job memorizing) and I had trouble following what was going on with the Jupiter part. One logistical piece is that the theater was freezing cold (felt like cold air blowing on us! Part of the tempest?) :) and I got a blanket during intermission for us, but it did get a tiny bit long for the 3 hours. But overall, very enjoyable! Thank you!
The production was wonderful! Well worth my $15.
We were very impressed with the level of talent, especially from the younger actors. There seemed to be some issues with the sound at the beginning of the show and the lighting was off a few times during the performance. Would definitely attend another show by this company.
Bravo! Well done! Excellent cast and performances! 🎭
I really liked the show! The cast was amazing! Costumes were perfect! Shakespeare was finally fun!!
Very well done! Caliban was a stand out. All of the leading cast did an excellent job. Ferdinand and Miranda were especially convincing.
The production was really good. It took me a while to understand the Shakespearian English. The cast did a remarkable job leaning all the lines. The costumes were fabulous.
