The Rush Funplex Kansas City

My family and I were in town on a small vacation and thought it would be fun to check this place out. The reviews were dicey, but we went for it anyway. There are a lot of activities to do, the prices aren’t too bad, and the place wasn’t overly crowded, surprisingly. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars today is because of the overall morale. I expected enthusiasm from the staff, but the energy that they were giving off was everything but that. We get it. Working with people everyday is a lot, and most of us have to slap a smile on our face when we really don’t want to. But when you bring your kids to a place for joy and fun, the last thing you expect is for the staff to throw the energy off. Not just one, almost every person we encountered seemed like they just did not want to be there. Based off of other reviews that I saw prior to our visit, this is a consistent issue, and I can definitely see what everyone was talking about. Hopefully this simple adjustment can be made because it really is a great place for families to come and have a good time.

I spent 5 hours with me and my son for his birthday during the week. We were the only ones there for most of the time. The staff never made us feel like a burden for wanting to do multiple games of laser tag, bowling, or any activity - period.

We had some issues with getting our payment to go through initially that was immediately taken care of - they even went ahead and refunded all of the unnecessary payments that had gone through.

Such a great experience and I cant wait to go back.

Good fun. Could definitely use better snack and drink options. Said on the website they had adult beverages, they did NOT.

My grandsons had a blast in the arcade, foam pit, and bumper cars! We were disappointed that there weren’t any go-karts for their age (8 & 10). Otherwise, it is a clean, fun place to spend a few hours!

This is always a good time. It is clean and well managed. I will always bring my grandson there first.

Took my 9, 11 and 12 year old family members and they had a blast. Purchased all day passes for them and they played for about 6 hours going back and forth between the foam pit, go karts, bumper cars, mini golf, and bowling. I really wanted to join in but couldn't quite afford that 4th pass. I wish it were cheaper for adults who just want to participate in a few activities with the kids. Also, I would love if the snack bar had more food options for people who do purchase the all day passes. But overall, the staff was very friendly and welcoming and I appreciate that they kept a clean, maintained environment for the kids to enjoy.

They were very intensive to my children giving good advice and also very helpful! I will recommend them always i just wish they had more of a food selection instead of snacks. Thank you to every employee there
