The Odyssey Show!
Description
The Odyssey Show! is a 2-act comedy musical written by our very own resident dramatist Cassian Grove, retelling books 9-12 of Homer’s Odyssey (that's the fun bit with all the islands and sailing). It blends music-hall singalong, puppetry, dance, and vaudeville with an original score by local songwriter Rory John which draws on folk punk, anti-folk, and lo-fi. There will be an evening performance at 6:30pm on Saturday, August 19th, and a matinee at 2:00pm on Sunday, August 20th.
The show is staged partially in-the-round, with audience on 3 out of 4 sides. There will be an intermission, bathrooms will be available. Wheelchair accessible, please write to starhouseatc@gmail.com that we may accommodate you. Mask and proof of full vaccination or negative Covid test from within the last 24 hours to be required indoors. Performers will be unmasked, but are fully vaccinated.
