Sunsets at the Rose Presents A Farm to Fork Dining Experience

Join us for a one-night-only culinary experience on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the beautiful Rustic Rose Barn in Roland, Iowa. This exclusive Farm to Fork dinner features a four-course plated meal prepared by award-winning Chef Aaron Holt of Doolittle Farm, alongside appetizers and one complimentary wine ticket.

Chef Holt is one of Iowa’s most celebrated culinary talents—named Iowa Restaurant Association’s Chef of the Year (2018), 1st place winner in the 2024 Iowa Beef Council Chef Competition, and recipient of the 2022 People’s Choice Award at Morsel Combat. His focus on local, seasonal ingredients and elegant rustic flavors promises a truly unforgettable dining experience.

Starter: Assortment of passed appetizers.

Salad: Iowa apple and goat cheese / organic greens / Simple Life farm goat cheese / Hall’s orchard apples / Bell Farm honey vinaigrette / Cortum farm delicata squash / toasted pepitas

Third: fall corn chowder / candied Iowa pork belly / crispy root vegetable chips / micro green salad 

Main: sous vide Iowa beef / confit whipped potatoes / fall harvest veggies / peppercorn gravy / pea tendrils 

Dessert: caramelized brown butter cake / spiced fall apples / Chantilly cream / Iowa oat granola / edible flowers  

Event Details:

⏰Event time is 5:30-8:30 PM. Cocktail hour will begin at 5:30. 

🚗We require valet parking! We will have signage that will direct you to our valet table. We will give you a wood medallion with a number on it and attach a number to your keys. Once you are ready to leave for the night, bring us back your number and we will retrieve your car for you!

🥂Our bar accepts CASH ONLY! We are not able to accept credit cards. Please bring cash and your ID if you plan on drinking!
