Hanna is originally from Southern California, but after moving to Maine for college, fell in love with the state and its history. Hanna has a deep passion for local history and historical preservation—topics which became the focus of their studies at College of the Atlantic. During their time in college, Hanna interned with the Blue Hill Public Library and Jonathan Fisher Historic House Museum, and completed a senior project comprising of essays working to answer the questions of why and how people care about local history. In their free time, Hanna enjoys reading, learning about dinosaurs, needle felting, and spending time with her partner and two cats, Tugboat and Dilly Bean.
