FACILITATORS

Rose-Ingrid Benjamin

Raised in Ottawa Rose-Ingrid Benjamin (she/they) is a member of the Haitian diaspora settled in what is commonly known as Canada. She has clearly taken disappointing her Haitian mother as a calling, as she has followed the dopamine to a new career every few years. From singer to preacher to actor to writer and now comedian, Rose-Ingrid has left no stone unturned as they subconsciously attempt to make up for their lack of a medical degree by collecting hyphenates. They have performed stand-up across Canada, the US and Europe, notably alongside Crystal Ferrier and Celeste Lampa on the Sweet & Salty Comedy Tour. Her other credits include Laugh Riot Grrrl Fest in Los Angeles and the Portland Maine Comedy Festival.

Veronica Antipolo aka Sassy La V

Part existential crisis and part leap of faith, Veronica Antipolo started storytelling and stand-up comedy as hobbies. The leap landed her exciting opportunities. So she continued to do both, as well as produce comedy, storytelling, and interview shows.

Veronica's work is mainly in personal narrative exploring themes of identity, community, and impact for change. She has been featured in CBC Radio’s “The Doc Project”, Reader’s Digest, and Museum London. and worked with clients such as the London Catholic District School Board, McMaster University, Toronto Metropolitan University and Western University. This past September, she recently produced the sold out Mosaic Stories which comes back November 22. Find out more at SassyLaV.com
