Ivybrook Academy’s PTA, school and the Pine Ridge Fire Rescue would like to invite you to attend a spaghetti dinner benefitting Adam Amort.
Adam came to Ivybrook Academy midway through the school year last year and brightened each day as he walked into school with his bright smile and keen fashion sense. He brought fun, silliness, and friendship to his classroom, and we are so grateful we got to spend several months getting to know him, teach him, and care for him.
Adam was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer in September. He has a long road ahead of him consisting of chemotherapy, stem cell harvesting, bone marrow transplants, tumor removal surgery, and immunotherapy. We would love to help this sweet family in any way possible as they care for Adam as well as their daughter while traveling back and forth between hospital and home. This spaghetti dinner along with monetary donations, is a small way we can help support them during this time. We ask that you all keep Adam and his family in your thoughts during this immensely difficult time. Adam's mom, Marie, shared this, "This is the fight of our life, but we are ready for battle!" We are here to join and support "Adam's Army"!
** All meals consist of the equivalent portion size for each ticket of spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread, salad, drink and dessert.
