The title of the event was pretty accurate about what the event would entail although I thought it was going to be a little more professional dancers, and I thought that there would be more duets. It felt like a showcase for the beginner dancers more than anything, and I just didn’t understand that that is what it would be. I also noticed the racial biases for example mainly white and Asian beginners getting tips over their black counterparts. Nevertheless, it was a pretty supportive environment and it was entertaining.

I love lesbians so much. My partner performed and was AMAZING, as were all the dancers. Liv is an amazing host, absolutely love this project and what she does for the community.
Wish there were no straight men there at the event but that unfortunately can’t be helped… they make everything unpleasant and there was one in particular I felt was acting inappropriate. I wish they would stay out of lesbian spaces so we could feel more safe.
