Description
10:15 arrival on the farm- ( or studio in Seville in inclement weather)
Coffee/tea and refreshments while we talk about the eco print process. We have 90 acres of farmland with lots of trees!! We will collect appropriate leaves and flowers and talk about tannins and dyes. Discuss leaf placement and design. Mordants. Fabric choices.
Then it is hands on laying the leaves, bundling onto copper pipes and tying up correctly. There will be time to complete:

1 SILK SCARF
6 PIECES OF CARD STOCK PAPER (for cards, scrapbooks, collage)
1 CLOTH PURSE
1 PAIR OF SOCKS
1 APRON
(If time allows, you can purchase [$10 cash] another pair socks, scarf, apron, papers to print on)
The bundles (the rolled and tied fabric) will cook (steam or simmer) in a turkey roaster for the appropriate time. Question and answers. Lunch (bring your own and I will supply drinks and dessert) and then the big reveal as we take our creations out of the roaster and unbundle them!!
The cost of this workshop is $95 per person. This includes hands on instruction, all clothing/accessories to be printed will be prepped for printing with the appropriate mordant. One handout to take home, coffee/tea/drinks/snacks (please bring your own lunch)

DEPENDING ON THE PROJECTED WEATHER FOR THE DATE OF YOUR WORKSHOP WE MAY MOVE IT TO MY AIR CONDITIONED STUDIO IN SEVILLE. I WILL NOTIFY YOU 2 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT WITH CONFIRMATION OF THE LOCATION OF THE VENUE.
