Semiahmoo Music 2025 Jazz Gala

The Semiahmoo High School Music Gala 2025 was absolutely wonderful! I invited many friends to attend, including one who is 80 years old. He told me the concert was amazing—it felt like he was young again.

Every volunteer was fantastic and brought such great energy to the event. I’m already looking forward to next year’s gala!

We had a wonderful evening! The food was delicious, the music was amazing, and the arrangements were fantastic. Thank you to all the teachers and volunteers for their hard work, and to the students for their wonderful performances.

Best time of the year - to see how students have progressed is amazing! The partnership with professionals and other students from VSO and other places pushes and inspires ours to rise up to the challenge. Such great synergy to witness! Thank you Dagan, Jeff, Annie and all of Semi administration plus WR Baptist Church for a super night!

Loved the music!

loved the music in the main hall, but not the banquet room. The room was nicely decorated but I found it was not conducive for socializing, eating, having a drink, or listening to the combos as a collection. Nothing really worked well in there. I would have preferred combos, food, auctions, and a variety of drinks and food as a separate event, because I really went for the music and did not want to leave, which we were told to do at the end of the first set. Combos with snacks wine beer and silent auction, or music with drinks intermission and silent auction, might work better. I think the night suffered from trying to do too much.
