Calling all nature explorers! Join us for interactive workshops one Saturday a month from 9:30-10:45AM. Designed for ages 5-10, each session includes a short lesson paired with indoor and outdoor activities (weather permitting).
Check out our Imagination Station and Living Laboratory before or after the workshop. These garden areas offer a variety of additional free play opportunities.

February 28: Reptiles with Georgia Reptile Society. The GA Reptile Society is helping us identify the different native reptiles you may see in the Garden or your own backyard. We will have live native and non-native animals such as, an Eastern King Snake, a Box Turtle, a Crested Gecko, and a Boa Constrictor. [Suitable for ages 5-13]
March 28: How did these flowers get here? Ever wonder how new plants suddenly appear around you? All sorts of seeds are traveling around you in so many different ways! You can help seeds grow too. We will make seed bombs with wildflower seeds for your yard.
April: No workshop
May 23: Insect ID- We’ll explore how beneficial insects help our garden and take an insect walk. We will explore our insect collection and identify the body parts that make insects unique.
