It was super fun but kinda overcrowded. It was said in the rules that strollers were not allowed but I saw numerous people with them and it contributed to the overcrowding problem. The venders were all good and there was a wide variety of them.
wish there was a list of all the vendors that participated and a website. link...I lost all the cards I had
The show was great just super busy wasn't able to get to most booths because people were not moving and or many people had strollers and wagons with them blocking the way we did buy a snake and a tank we were there less then 35 minutes because it was too crowded. We might try again next year just later in the day no issues with parking
Def way overcrowded and absolutely zero floor control over flow, and felt honestly a little concerned for patron/vendor/reptile theft and safety. The rest of the center should be utilized similarly to comic-con to allow for there to be a better flow of patrons and less congestion.
Enjoy it every time
Very crowded, not as good for
Kids of all ages as suggested
Lots of people and fun. Just wasn't enough room for the amount of strollers and wagons that where there.
It's a good expo. However you'll spend extra time at each table just to try to get to the table. Hope you constantly like being bumped and constantly walked into. It's over crowded. They need to space it out more or get a different venue. They have everything there it's a nice expo but they need a bigger venue. I personally won't return to this one and will just wait to go to the one in Albany.
I found out about the Saratoga reptile show from an Instagram advertisement. I don't know how it ended up in my feed but I am glad it did because I really enjoyed the event. I do not own any reptiles as pets but I admire their beauty and it was fun and interesting to go and see so many different beautiful creatures. I asked questions of many of the vendors and they were all very friendly and helpful. I only have one suggestion. The crowd was large and jam-packed in the rather small auditorium it was held in in the Saratoga City center. Perhaps an additional room, or a larger room, could have been used to manage the crowds. It was as if you were trying to get through extreme crowds at a rock concert or a sporting event, just to get close enough to the vending tables to get a good view of the animals and merchandise. Other than that it was a wonderful family event especially for older children. Again, the crowds were so dense it was hard for little children to navigate through and see much at the tables so most little kids I saw were being carried. I hope to go to the next one when it is in town tho!
Vendors were all great but the location felt disorganized. Could have used some spatial organization with areas for people standing still or meeting friends.
The event should have staff on the floor.
