Description

EVENT DETAILS

Doors will open at the stated time on your ticket. The show will begin 30 minutes after your ticket time, to give you plenty of time to get settled and begin eating your high-tea dinner! 

Full dinner menu will be updated before event date, but if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies- please let us know!

Sample Menu:

Cream scone with clotted cream and jam

Summer Salad

Assorted tea sandwiches and savories (cucumber sandwich, smoked salmon sandwich, chicken and mushroom risotto)

Crème brûlée, tiramisu, chocolate strawberries, and other seasonal selections

Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, should you wish to enjoy them alongside your dinner. 


THE SHOW

While you eat, a production of Neil Simon's classic, farcical comedy, 'Rumors' will play out around you. You will not be participating in the show- don't worry!  

Set all in one night at (what was supposed to be) an upscale dinner party, four couples arrive to find their hostess missing, and that the deputy mayor has shot himself in the head. Arguments, misunderstandings, and flat-out lies ensue as each of the guests tries to get to the bottom of what happened.

THE VENUE 

Madeline Garden Bistro is a classic teahouse located inside the historic 1920's Cheesewright mansion in Pasadena. The beautiful Victorian furnishings and antiques add to the ambiance, and set the mood for this immersive performance.
