The horsdoeuvres were great. The staff was great. The wine was great. The owners seemed to really care about the patrons that they had a good time. The person introducing the wines was helpful and funny. It was a really fun time and something pretty cool for the Grand Rapids/greenway area.
Terrific venue, well organized. Appetizers disappointing, nothing special or memorable and so many things on hard crostini that I couldnât eat !
The wine tasting with pairings and seating for the concert were nicely presented. Lovely wines and ample servings ! The music incredible ( though I had hoped to hear Sibelius too ). More please âșïž
Thank you so much.

Wonderful event and great idea for the wine pairing. Bringing Classical music to your exceptional venue is very welcome. Hope to see the upstairs renovated into a true event center with music emphasis. TCCC should be your house band! Looking forward to the Christmas-time return of TCCC with horn.
We recently moved here from Chicago, and before that LA. We never expected something like this here!!
Amazing pairings of wine to music! Wow. The location is superb, absolutely gorgeous. The Hosts were also fantastic. The performance was first rate and the wines, along with perfectly paired appetizers, were out of this world.
The only thing we would change is the music choice. It leaned waay to far into modern contemporary, which is a turn off for most, even in LA. Although this is a typical orchestral selection today, the music would have been better received with a bit more of a classic vibe thrown in. The audience reception of Bach was heartfelt. Unfortunately the next "nearly" classical sound on the program was Sibelius.
Audiences can take a little progressive music if it is liberally salted with some of the classics. The artistry was superb, but the program didn't quite get there. The wines were amazing and helped the audience understand some of the unusual aspects on the roster.
Overall, amazing and 5 Stars!
TCCC is one of the most creative and talented group of young musicians that I have had the privilege to be involved with, as I do volunteer whenever I can, and feel so blessed that these amazing young people are here in our communities sharing their gifts and inspiring all of us.
Music does not judge, It is a universal language, Rich or Poor, Beggar or King, Christian or Jew, Black or White, Old or Young..there are no borders.
From the beginning of time, music has communicated every emotion of the human mind and being, and we are so blessed that whether it is a small rural community such as Coleraine, a city such as Duluth and places near and far, the people will come to celebrate this incredible gift and last night Magda and Ryan outdid themselves in a stunning, heart wrenching performance of joy, enlightenment, compassion, inspiration and all the possibilities that this universal language can make this world a better place.
Thank You Magda, Ryan, Jozef, Sue, the staff at Ravenstone Abbey, the combined effort of so many to bring this outstanding event to us at a time when this divided country needs something concrete that we can cling to...music is the staff of life.
Sincerely,
Juliet Jones.
Am so looking forward to the Candlelight Christmas Concert.
Very unique for our small town. Something I will always remember. Hope to attend more events.
A wonderful night filled with beautiful people, music, and delicious wine.
