Sign up for a day or the series, this class offers an opportunity to render flora, architecture, and even figures. Instructor Rob Finn will tailor subjects and styles students would like to investigate. Each day, Rob will start with a morning session of a demonstration from 9 am – Noon, (time for lunch) followed by a participant’s painting session with advice and instruction through 4 pm.
During the week, we’ll explore the La Rochelle and Land & Garden Preserve's Asticou Azalea Garden and Little Long Pond properties to find areas with exciting landscapes.

About the Instructor
Rob Finn is a working artist in Philadelphia and College of the Atlantic Alumni from 1992. He’s been represented by Artemis Gallery in Northeast Harbor, Maine for the past 7 years and participated in the Hudson to Harbor event since its inception. His architectural history murals of COA are part of the Gates Center lobby on campus.
He was a commercial artist in Boston after college and worked with mural arts groups in San Francisco where he lived for 22 years. He’s currently a member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club, America’s oldest artists group.
Plein-air watercolor classes have been a regular part of his summers in Bar Harbor, Philadelphia and New Hope, PA. He has also received a Maker/Creator Fellowship from Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library in Wilmington, Delaware.
