A wonderful set hosted at the eclectic Backroom Art Lounge & Social Club. Echo Eden and the Dreamers started the show off with a high energy performance embracing 70s rock standards, original songs that keep that era's spirit alive, and finishing up with a crowd pleasing Bad Romance to really end on a high note.
Keathley went on with an admittedly stripped down ensemble but the intimacy of the venue made this all the more cozy. Acoustic guitar and jazz brushes mixed with understated yet heartfelt vocals made this band I would love to see around here again.
Closing the show was resting with a much more complicated setup process. Once they began though, they filled the space with a wall of sound evocative of downtempo electronica and alt-pop. Great stuff by this group.
