This July 5, join the Past Lives Events Guild for the Event of all Events – A benefit show that promises to benefit your weekend and our community. This is more than a fundraiser, it is a chance to be a part of and support our community in expanding accessible and collaborative artistry.
Our humble stage has been the birthplace of our monthly Open Mic Nights, as well as host to puppet shows, local bands, and local artist debuts. We have witnessed an incredibly special, supportive community flourish here – many artists coming out of hiatus in this space, feeling inspired and safe stepping into our community. Our goal is to expand the venue to do more of this, to confidently accommodate any type of performance we can imagine - live music, theater, dance, storytelling.
We invite you to join us for a night that celebrates the magic of this stage, and supports a collective dreaming and imagining for what more we can do here. We see the potential, and we invite you to join us in reaching it.
Our dreams include:
- permanently installing our PA system,
- stage lighting,
- stage curtains, and
- bathroom remodels.
With access to such an amazing community of makers and artists at Past Lives, all of the labor for each project will be done in-house: the installations and builds by our talented contractors, the stage designs by our visionary members, the curtains by our Textiles Guild, the curtain rods by our Metalworkers Guild, and the list goes on. Your donations will go directly toward the equipment, materials, and to support our amazing volunteers.
