Painting with Nala in the Field
Step into the soft light of the lavender fields and let your creativity bloom. Nala Heer, a local artist born and raised in Kewaunee, WI, and owner of Zara Studio & Co., is known for hosting public paint parties and bringing art and creativity into the heart of the community.
For Lavender Fest, Nala will lead two special workshops where participants will paint a whimsical, up-close rendition of the lavender fields. Using simple techniques to highlight light and shadow, the focus will be on the flowers, with a playful finish featuring Nala’s signature splatter paint for added texture and fun. This beginner-friendly session is perfect for anyone looking to relax, get creative, and take home a personal piece of the farm while enjoying the beauty of Glen Innish.
This is more than just a painting class—it’s an invitation to slow down, connect with the land, and see beauty through an artist’s eyes. Come as you are. Leave with lavender in your heart and paint on your hands.
Two workshops offered during the Lavender Festival on Saturday, August 2nd — 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM.
Just $40 per person – all supplies and step-by-step instruction included.
