Join local Vancouver artist Maggie Chang of Hoi Yung Creations for a guided acrylic painting workshop designed for beginners and creative enthusiasts alike.

In this 90-minute session, participants will be guided step by step through creating their own beautiful painting on canvas. Explore colours, learn simple painting techniques, and discover the joy of creating something uniquely yours.

No painting experience is necessary! Whether you’re coming with friends, enjoying a creative date, or treating yourself to some artistic downtime, this workshop offers a welcoming and supportive environment.

All painting materials are provided. Just bring your creativity and get ready to have fun!

What You'll Learn:

Participants will learn the fundamentals of acrylic painting, including colour mixing, brush techniques, layering, blending, and creating depth and texture.

Through easy-to-follow, step-by-step instruction, participants will gain confidence in using acrylic paints while exploring their own creativity.

The focus is on enjoying the creative process, experimenting with colours, and discovering that anyone can paint, regardless of experience.

Supplies to bring: 

Paint apron to protect clothes.

Take Home:

Each participant will take home their very own completed acrylic painting on a canvas, a unique piece of artwork they can proudly display or gift to someone special.

They’ll also leave with new painting skills, creative inspiration, and the satisfaction of having created something beautiful with their own hands.
