The Oxford Salsa & Bachata Ball is HERE and promises to be a great event with workshops and classes from some fantastic teachers!

With 3 hours of parallel classes in the afternoon in a range of styles, an afternoon showcase*, an hour of partner work classes in the evening, a ball, a band, shows AND THEN our famed afterparty, what's not to miss!?

While we're still working on the line-up, tickets are available online NOW! There's even a special rate for a limited number of early bird tickets, as well as group discounts on 6+ tickets!

Afternoon Workshops

We will be running 3 hours of workshops across 4 spaces, so that's 12 hours of classes to choose from! Classes will cover a variety of themes, including Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba. All partnerwork classes are improver/intermediate level and do require a good grasp of the basics and technique. We'll be sure to include open-level solo classes in each hour though, so there's something for everyone, and we have some great beginner classes in the evening!

Evening Ball

This will take place in the Oxford Town Hall. You’ll have a couple of hours between finishing the workshops to go grab food and get glammed up for the evening ball. Cocktail attire is recommended but not compulsory! The night will start with a class, led by some awesome teachers, followed by dazzling performances including our very own OUSS student show teams. Then it’s your time to shine!!! There will be live music and top DJs including Julian Summers and Sergio Fernandez booked to play in our separate salsa/cha-cha and bachata/kizomba rooms.

Two pass types will be available, for either the full day of workshops, party, and afterparty; or just the evening workshop, party and after-party. (Evening classes at the town hall are included in the party pass!!)
