OTTAWA UNPLUGGED: Desi Night

This event is more than just a party: It’s a full evening built around live music, performance, rhythm, and atmosphere, bringing together the energy of a concert with the social feel of a Desi night out.

The night will feature live performances by Liam Jadavji and the Upadhyay Sisters, bringing a mix of Bollywood-inspired vocals, stage presence, and crowd energy to the event. The experience will also include live percussion by Parth Kumar (@ottawa_dholi), adding a powerful rhythmic element that helps create the immersive, high-energy feel of the night.

Guests can expect dance performances by Seven Steps Dance and UOttawa Bhangra, followed by a DJ set by Avtaar Music to carry the night into a full party atmosphere. The event is structured to flow from live concert moments into performances and then into a vibrant DJ-led celebration, making it feel like a complete entertainment experience rather than a single-format event.
