The Bartlesville Ringers, a community handbell choir formed in Spring 2024, bring together musicians from ten area church denominations under the Bartlesville Musical Research Society. After performing with the Bartlesville Chorale and Symphony Orchestra this past Christmas and debuting at last year’s festival, they return under conductor Marjoleine Gravley. Join them Friday, June 5 at 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church for a joyful handbell concert.

Liberty & the Bard is a singular, immersive event bringing together history, music, and conversation. Experience four rare Shakespeare Folios while Professor Lars Engle (University of Tulsa) explores Shakespeare’s influence on American culture and politics. The Manhattan Chamber Players will perform an intimate concert inspired by this legacy, and guests will enjoy a small tea service. A refined, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

American Cinema in Strings: A 250th Anniversary Tribute (June 6) celebrates the spirit of America through its most iconic film scores, beautifully reimagined for strings by the Manhattan Chamber Players. Featuring unforgettable music by John Williams, Randy Newman, James Horner, and Alan Silvestri, this concert brings to life themes from Lincoln, The Natural, Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, E.T., and more. Featuring music by Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Scott Joplin, and Henry Mancini, this engaging concert blends virtuosity, nostalgia, and charm. A delightful afternoon of music for all ages.
