Experience an unforgettable evening celebrating mezcal, tequila, bacanora, and Sonoran heritage foods, presented by Tequila Ocho and Mezcal Vago. This year’s Noche de Mezcal is a fully immersive culinary event bringing together regional agave spirits, open-fire cooking, and live music in one vibrant night.
The evening’s dining experience is led by Chef Pablo Valencia, whose cooking highlights the ingredients, traditions, and flavors of the Sonoran Desert and borderlands. Guests will explore a series of open-fire cooking stations featuring heritage foods and regionally inspired dishes prepared over live flame. Chef Valencia’s approach celebrates seasonal ingredients, desert agriculture, and the culinary traditions that connect the region’s communities.
Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy mezcal tastings, craft cocktails, and pours from four pop-up bars featuring exceptional agave spirits brands including mezcal, tequila, and bacanora. Chefs, mezcaleros, and musicians come together to share the flavors, stories, and rhythms that define the Sonoran Desert.
Rooted in place and culture, Noche de Mezcal is a celebration of agave, community, and desert creativity.

Great time - this is the 5th MiaB I've attended and while there was fewer mezcal brands represented, the overall tasting experience was much more pleasant.
However, the Food truck experience was sub-par.
The food, setting, cocktails and spirit of the event was perfect. We went with friends and all had a great evening.
This was a truly magical evening meeting new friends under a canopy of beautifully illuminated trees. The Agave spirits and cocktails were top notch and the food excellent. We will be back next year!
Great venue. Two mystery shots at our table weren’t identified. Too many lines for food and drinks. Dessert was set out but not announced as available. Goat Birria and other food was very good.
I thought it was a great venue. I do think they needed to double the number of custom cocktail sections as well as two food lines. There was a long wait. Having said this, it was a great experience and everything was fantastic
Very very good experience overall, but the staff giving different answers on how the food process will be doled out, and one of the organizers chastising people for standing in line for mixed drinks and not food only to find out the food buffet was not ready was kind of a weird moment. Maybe signposting or staff trial run to give a more refined experience?
