New Berlin Festival 2026

Celebrate North Canton’s German heritage at the 5th Annual New Berlin Festival! Inspired by the city’s original name, New Berlin, this family-friendly festival transforms downtown North Canton into a lively Oktoberfest celebration filled with beer, sausage, and polka. Thousands of visitors gather each year to enjoy authentic German food, local craft beer, live entertainment, and one-of-a-kind traditions.

Spend the day sampling German-inspired favorites, browsing local vendors, and enjoying a full lineup of activities including the famous sausage toss, alpenhorn blowing, wiener dog races, yodeling contests, cornhole, and more. The festival’s Biergarten features a variety of Ohio craft breweries, while the Chardon Polka Band keeps the celebration going with energetic live music.
