Description
In the early 1800’s, the city now known as North Canton was previously a village called New Berlin. With mostly German speaking residents, New Berlin became a bustling trading center with several local Taverns, inns, wagon-makers, blacksmiths and general stores.
The New Berlin Festival pays homage to our past as thousands of local residents gather in the heart of the city to enjoy homemade German food, live Polka music and fall flavored beer.
Join us on Saturday, Sept 27th, 2025 from 12-7pm as we shut down Main St, welcome back the biggest and best Polka Band (Chardon Polka Band) this side of the Tuscarawas, and say Prost to our past.
