Description
Mr Gardner was a very special teacher and person. He worked at Greenshaw for nearly four decades, and his contribution during that time was remarkable. We have received so many memories of students past and present, and it's clear to see the profound impact he had on the lives of many.
We miss him dearly, and will continue to, and we know too how much of a shock his passing was to many of you. As a consequence, we feel it is fitting to hold a memorial event for Mr Gardner on Thursday 10th September at 6pm at Greenshaw, and we would like to invite former students to join us to celebrate his life.
It's worth noting that many of you will have started your degrees or apprenticeships by this time, which may mean you are not Sutton based. However, if you are able to return for the evening we would welcome you at the event. Please note, however, that we are inviting current and former staff, as well as former pupils from across the decades of Mr Gardner's tenure, so numbers will be limited to a first come, first served basis.
