Description

Michael Lille and Eric Ramsey bring together decades of award-winning songwriting, world-class musicianship, and road-tested storytelling for an intimate night in the KAFM Radio Room. Lille, a Virginia native, is a Kerrville New Folk winner and Telluride Troubadour first-place winner whose nearly five-decade career has taken him from Aspen to Nashville, Austin, and around the world. He has opened for artists including Alison Krauss, Bob Dylan, Warren Zevon, Leo Kottke, and Little Feat, and his recordings have featured guests such as Alison Krauss, Mary-Chapin Carpenter, Victor Wooten, George Marinelli, and Andrea Zonn. His newest solo project, Ashland Avenue, marks his first solo release in 20 years.

Arizona Blues Hall of Famer Eric Ramsey is an International Blues Challenge winner, recipient of the Memphis Cigar Box Guitar Award for outstanding guitarist in the Solo/Duo category, a three-time Phoenix Blues Society Blues Showdown champion, and a two-time Telluride Blues Challenge finalist. A favorite on folk and blues festival circuits, Ramsey is known for soaring vocals, open tunings, slide guitar, and songs that move between humor, sensitivity, grit, and reflection. Together, Lille and Ramsey offer an evening of masterful songwriting, acoustic roots, blues, folk, and stories from a life spent chasing songs across the map.
