Intimate Showing of Local Comedy and Musical Acts

Lyrics N Laughs is a locally curated event to bring together amazing talent to perform for the community. We are currently aiming for 1 show a month, located on the first Wednesday. Only 2 hours, we try and jam-pack the fun and entertainment. All performers are local and love to have the chance to meet a new audience and show their skills. We try and incorporate all genres of musicians and thrive on the diversity. 

We have no boundaries set on the comedians or musicians, but expect all material to be used in the furtherance of their craft and not for spite or hatred. The audience is expected to respect the performers and heckling isn't required unless crowd-work is part of the set. Keep voices and distractions at a minimum while the show is in session, with an announced break near the middle. 

One of the most important things about Lyrics N Laughs is the focus on community and positivity. We are living in a very stressful and hand-wringing world. We all need distractions sometimes, and a lot of those seem to be more independent after the pandemic. LNL allows people to come together for a short period and be entertained in a productive way. Perhaps you meet a great new friend at one of our events!

Smoothies, Bierocks, and Baked Goods will be available for most of the event. A system is in place to take orders for your enjoyment. Come hungry and stressed, leave satiated and positive. Sounds like a winner to me!
