LORE OF THE SKY FEST - MOVIE NIGHT

WEDNESDAY 29TH JULY - 17.00 - 22.00

We will have an evening of entertainment and views with an open air cinema screen, against the back drop of the stunning North Dorset vista.

Entry to site for the evening activities is from 5pm. From 5.30pm there will be a movie suitable for all (U) with dinner and drinks being served throughout by Lore of the Sky. After 8.00pm we move on to the high octane action movie showing Con Air (15). A 15 minute interlude will happen during the main movie (toilets, dead legs, snack break)

Movie ticket to include a light movie refreshment - delicious popcorn! More food, drinks and ice creams will be available to purchase separately over the course of the evening. 

Please bring your blankets, fold out chairs and favourite lounge wear, as we settle down to enjoy a night at the movies. Please remember to wear appropriate clothing and footwear, as this will be an outdoor event on grass. Bring along layers for all the family to add as the evening cools during July.

Please note that this action film is classified as a ‘15’, and admission is restricted accordingly. Only individuals aged 15 years and over are permitted to watch the screening. Any children under the age of 15 who are present on site will not be allowed to view the film, particularly for showings scheduled after 7pm. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to age classification guidelines.

Info, terms & conditions

We reserve the right to ask for ID for age verification for the main movie (e.g. passport), anyone under 15 years will be refused access to the viewing area for the screen for the movie after 8pm and adults accompanying will need to make arrangements for under 15’s under their supervision or forgo their ticket; guardians with no arrangements made for visitors under 15 years will not be entitled to a refund.

We would appreciate your patience at busy times and be mindful our staff are working really hard so everyone can enjoy their evening.

We operate a CLEAN & TIDY approach at the airfield. As we are making it special and allowing festival guests onto the Runway for our Open Air Movie Night! Please can you dispose of all rubbish in waste bins and take any accompanying debris, off the runway away with you when you leave.

1. Ticket Requirement

All attendees must hold a valid ticket for entry. Tickets must be presented on arrival either digitally or in printed form. Staff reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the site for unsafe, illegal, or disruptive behaviour without refund.

2. Parking & Vehicles

Car parking after 5pm will be on a first come first served basis.

3. Weather Disclaimer

This is an outdoor occasion. It will proceed in most weather conditions. No guarantee can be made regarding weather conditions on the day.

4. Cancellation or Postponement

If the movie night is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s control (including but not limited to extreme weather, airfield operational requirements, safety concerns, or regulatory restrictions), ticket holders will be notified and options regarding ticket transfers or refunds will be communicated where applicable.

6. Refund Policy

Tickets are non-refundable except in the case of full event cancellation by the organisers.

7. Photography & Filming

Photography and filming may take place for promotional and archival purposes. By attending, visitors consent to the use of their image in marketing and media.

8. Safety & Airfield Regulations

Attendees must follow all safety instructions issued by staff and comply with airfield safety rules. Restricted areas must not be entered under any circumstances.

9. Children

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

10. Personal Property

Attendees bring personal belongings at their own risk. The organisers accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage.

11. Dogs & Animals

Dogs are permitted only if kept on a lead at all times and under control. Owners must clean up after their animals and consider their needs and requirements.

12. Food & Alcohol

Outside food, drink and alcohol may not be permitted where licensed premises operate. Staff reserve the right to refuse entry to intoxicated individuals.

13. Health & Safety

Attendees must take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others while attending.

14. Acceptance of Terms

Purchase of a ticket constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
