ABOUT CHRISTMAS DADDIES

The Christmas Daddies Telethon raises funds to provide toys, gifts and food to Maritime children in need during the holiday season.

Jim Hill (1927-2010), co-creator shares his story of how the telethon was born in 1964. Today the legacy continues. Broadcast on the first Saturday in December on CTV Atlantic, it kicks off the holiday season, showcases local talent and provides Maritimers with an avenue to reach out and help the most vulnerable in their communities. Over the years it has grown into an important Maritime holiday tradition.
