Kai Kurayomi Presents: The (Unofficial) VeXpo Pre-Party 2026

Heading to Birmingham on Thursday for *VeXpo with nothing to do in the evening? Twiddling your thumbs in your hotel room waiting for the weekend to start? Well why don't we kick it off a little early!

Ticket Information:

• Tickets will go on sale June 13th @ 8pm BST
• Ticket price will be £18
• There will be a very limited amount of tickets. Plan ahead and buy them once they go live!

Quiz Information:

The quiz will be played in teams of 4. To accommodate this, tables will be able to seat a maximum of 4 people. If you are coming as a group larger than 4, you will need to plan ahead how you will split up your group. Teams and tables will not be allowed to be larger than 4 people. Attendees can sign up as a 4 or less, but please note if you sign up as a 3, 2 or solo, you will be sat with other attendees to fill up the table.

There will a private Discord server which will be accessible once you have purchased your ticket. This will contain information, news & updates regarding the event as well as a way for the organizers to contact ticket holders. This will also be used to sort out quiz team names and seat allocation, and a way to ask questions regarding the event.

Timetable:

• 6pm - Doors Open
  - If you wish to arrive earlier than 6pm for a drink, the downstairs bar is open from 12pm.
  - Access to the upstairs room where the event takes place will only be open from 6pm.
  - Please have your ticket ready to be scanned (QR code) so we can give you your wristband.
  - If you do not have a ticket, you will be denied entry.
  
  
• 7pm - Event Starts (VTuber Pub Quiz / Bingo / Special Guest Segments & More)
  - Please look to arrive at least 10 minutes before the event starts.
  - Attendees arriving after this time will be admitted to the event but the quiz will not be delayed to accommodate late arrivals
  
  
• 10pm - Karaoke
  - The karaoke will be using Karafun.
  - You can look to see if they have any songs you want to sing ahead of time here.
  
  
• 11pm - Prize Ceremony
  - We will count the scores during the first 1 hour of Karaoke and announce the winners here!
  - Make sure to stick around for this if you took part in the quiz!
  
  
• 2am - Close
  - Karaoke will continue after the prize ceremony until close.
  

Rules:

• This event is strictly 18+ ONLY. Photo ID may be requested at any point.

• Arrive at least 10 minutes before the event starts @ 7pm
  - We are giving you a 1 hour window to arrive before the quiz starts @ 7pm.
  - We will not wait for missing attendees should you arrive later than the quiz's start time.
• Quiz teams & tables are max 4 people.
  - If you are coming in alone or in a group less than 4, we will seat you with a table that needs teammates.
• Phones will not be permitted on the table while the quiz is taking place.
  - If we see a phone being used during the quiz, you may be asked to put it away.
  - If you need to use your phone during the quiz, please step aside from your table to make any calls etc.
• Alcohol will be served at this event; however please consume responsibly.
  - Both the venue staff and the event organisers retain the right to ask attendees behaving inappropriately to leave the premises.
  -Attendees will be liable for any willful damage caused to equipment belonging to the venue, the organisers, or other attendees

The Venue:

• The event venue is not wheelchair accessible, stairs are required to access the function room in which the event will be held.
  - If you require assistance to access the venue, please let us know in advance and we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.
• There are accessible toilets in the function room, so you will not need to go up and down the stairs to access them.
• There is a fully staffed bar in the function room, so you will not need to go up and down the stairs to access it.
  - The bar sells both alcoholic & non-alcoholic soft drinks.
