Introduction to the Art of Ebru - Water Marbling - ALL AGES
LEVEL: Beginner

An exceptional chance to learn about the age-old craft of Ebru, or water marbling, is provided by our Introduction to Water Marbling Workshop. This fascinating method creates unique designs by drawing complex patterns on the water's surface and then transferring them onto paper or cloth. NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! Beginners are welcome!

Workshops normally run 2 hours, which includes time for project completion, practice, and teaching. ALL MATERIALS ARE INCLUDED! (add-ons are available)

Age Limit: Families will enjoy this enjoyable activity as children ages 5 and above are invited to participate under adult supervision.

Level of Skill: No prior knowledge is required. Beginners or anybody wishing to experiment with a new creative art form will love this course.
 

Projects Available: Artists will create their own marbled designs on paper. Participants will leave with approximately 10 unique paper pieces for framing or scrapbooking. For an additional fee, there's an option to print these designs on a silk handkerchief for an additional $25 per handkerchief. All materials will be prepped for you ahead of time, and you will leave with instructions so you may do this at home, too!

LIMITED CLASS SIZE! We keep the classes small, so you can have a better artistic experience.
