In the spirit of the Hudson River School painters and their link with Mount Desert Island's history, this artist's invitational brings plein air painters and artists in various other media together to celebrate and invoke this connection and MDI itself. On Friday evening, August 2, there will be a reception for the invited artists to showcase their works. Cocktails and hor d'oeuvres will be served. This ticketed event is presented in proud partnership with the Land and Garden Preserve with grant funding provided by the Onion Foundation.
