Raven has trekked her own personal journey of what it means to be she. She is a wife, aunt, sister, daughter, grand-daughter, friend, and proud Métis woman.
Raven’s current teaching role is with Brandon School Division as the Indigenous Education Learning Specialist. She works to support schools in welcoming Elders and Knowledge Keepers into their buildings, as well as interacting with teachers and students to integrate more Indigenous ways of knowing and being into education.
Raven appreciates every opportunity she has to learn from those around her and the world at large.
For the past 20 years, Melissa Hart has worked in Indigenous education, public schools, the justice system, and as a therapist who specializes in trauma. Through her diverse life experiences, she has learned that resilience and connection are key ingredients to well-being.
Melissa believes in providing a safe, engaging, open and welcoming environment creating space for personal growth. Her goal is to walk with her students and clients on their journeys towards a valued life. She is excited to share her story with audiences that are interested in discovering and exploring their own path towards wellness.
Kayce is originally from Toronto, ON. She took her first yoga class in September 2008 and never looked back. She instantly knew this was the path she wanted to take. Kayce quit her job, packed her bags and headed for India to the Moksha Yoga teacher training. She has travelled the world learning and teaching yoga. While on her travels she met her now husband and moved to Hamiota in 2013. She has written a children's book called Travelling Yogi and opened Countryside Studio & Gym in Hamiota. When she is not on her mat, you can find her taking photos, painting, coaching, travelling and trying to balance life as a farm wife and mama of 3.
