Guildford Farm Murder Mystery Dinner & Wine Pairing

This Valentine’s Day, the “Guildford 5” families gather to honor the life of Jeremiah Early—but as their history unfolds, it becomes clear his death may not have been accidental. Join us for a custom-written historical-fiction murder mystery set at Guildford Farm.

Bring a date, a friend, or anyone who enjoys great food, great wine, and a great story. This is an event no foodie, wine lover, history buff, or mystery enthusiast will want to miss.

No acting required—just enjoy the evening as the story unfolds around you.

Ticket includes:

• A chef-crafted, five-course plated dinner by The Local Catering (inside Guildford's modern barn reception hall), featuring seasonal, farm-forward cuisine with highlights such as prosciutto-wrapped apple & manchego, butternut squash bisque, a seasonal local-ingredients salad, a pork tenderloin or vegetarian pasta entrée, and a flourless chocolate dessert (special dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice; contact event organizer)
• Four Virginia wine pairings/tastings by Guildford Farm & Vineyard (featuring our favorite local wines)
• Immersive murder mystery experience featuring local actors from Tellaplay
• Guided tour of our 1790s manor home to search for clues
• Price: $145 per ticket (includes taxes and gratuities; processing fee applied at checkout) 

****Ticket Limit: only 40 tickets are available for this event. 

****Age Requirement: This is a 21+ event. All guests must be 21 years of age or older to attend.

****Attire: Cozy, weather-appropriate attire recommended—this experience includes a short outdoor walk between the reception hall and the manor home.

****Snow Makeup Date: February 21 (used only if weather conditions make the February 14 event unsafe or impossible to host, at Guildford Farm’s discretion)

****Refund Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. However, tickets may be transferred to another guest with advance notice. In the event of postponement due to weather, tickets will automatically transfer to the snow makeup date.

****Available for Purchase: Additional wine by the glass or bottle will be available for purchase at the tasting bar; not included with ticket price.

****Agreement: By purchasing a ticket, guests acknowledge they have read and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the ticket description.
