Description

On Friday, August 21st at 7:00 PM, we're hosting Grown Local at Holiday Orchard in Comfort: a four-course supper celebrating the small farms, orchards, and boutique ranchers of Texas. Everything on the table has a hometown.

Quail from Bandera. Gulf crab from Corpus Christi. Pork from Johnson City, vegetables grown in Kendall County and even the flowers on the table are sourced from a local boutique flower farm.

The centerpiece of the night is something we've never poured before: a one-night-only cider pressed from apples grown right here in Comfort — minutes from your seat. One pressing, one night. Once the last glass is poured, that's it. This isn't farm-to-table as a buzzword. It's a seat at the table with the people and places that feed the Hill Country. Between courses, we'll share the stories behind the ingredients — who grew them, where, and why small Texas agriculture is worth celebrating and worth protecting.

As always, we'll dine together at communal tables under the Comfort sky, with thoughtfully paired Hill Country Cider House pours alongside each course, unhurried conversation, and the kind of hospitality that can't be shipped in from anywhere.

Come taste what Texas grows.
