GO-BOY! Memories of a Life Behind Bars is a feature documentary chronicling the physical and psychological effects of the prison system, seen through the eyes of Roger Caron, a jailbreaking bank-robber turned award-winning author. Roger spent twenty-four years in prison and escaped an incredible thirteen times – more than anyone in Canadian history. His story began and ended in Cornwall, with some footage being filmed here at the Jail. Join us for the unique event where you will watch the documentary in the Historic SDG Courthouse followed by Q&A with Producer, Rob Lindsay, and a self-guided tour of the Jail. Doors open at 5:30pm, showtime at 6pm, tours until 9pm. Please note that the film venue is accessible by elevator and an accessible video tour is available, but must be requested in advance by contacting [email protected] or calling the Jail, 613-935-4891.
