Ghosts of Summer 2026

Ghosts of Summer, Portland’s summertime festival for Halloween lovers, will return to The Redd in SE Portland, OR the evenings of August 7 & 8. The event is set to fill an entire city block with artists, vendors, haunts, educators, and performers who are ready to escape the summer heat and celebrate the spirit of the coming season.

The weekend experience features:

- Live entertainment, including drag performances by Quesa D’Mondays

- Spooky displays and activities, including an escape game by Scaregrounds PDX

- Local food and beverage vendors, including a pop-up bar by Raven’s Manor

- Opportunities to win cool prizes, including nightly costume contests

- 70+ artists, makers, fortune tellers, and more

Ghosts of Summer, founded by 2 Portland theatre makers, is a passion project designed to celebrate the wonderfully weird and platform independent artists amid the season’s corporate Halloween drops. The event is POC and LGBTQ+ -led, and pumpkin spice inclusive.
