Grab a friend and your broom and join us on May 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM–10:00 PM at the beautiful Hickory Bridge Farm in Orrtanna, PA. for an adults only night of Beltane magic, music, and dancing at the Gettysburg Witches’ Walk Ball. No, you don't have to be a witch. We are all here to join together and celebrate the season with community, movement, and a little playful mischief. Dress in your finest witchy themed attire, hats, brooms, crowns, or whatever feels magical to you. The evening includes a costume contest, special dance performances by the Gettysburg Witches' Walk group, and plenty of time to dance together and welcome the season. And don't forget to visit photographer, Melissa Ring at her photobooth.

Not included in your ticket:

• Drinks from the cash bar. All event goers must pay for their own sodas, juices, and alcoholic beverages.

Costume Contest Categories for the Witches’ Ball

This night is all about expression, play, and a little enchantment woven into every detail. These categories are here to celebrate your creativity. Come as you are… or as something entirely different. Most importantly, have fun with it. There’s no wrong way to be magical.

1. Best Beltane Theme

Beltane is a celebration of fire, fertility, welcoming in the summer, and the awakening of the earth. This category is for those who embody that spirit, whether through flames or florals.

2. Most Witchy Vibe

This category is devoted entirely to those who come as witches in all their forms. From herbalists and hedge witches to high priestesses and storm-callers. It’s not about being “pretty” or “ugly,” but about presence and the spark of magic.

3. Most Theatrical / Dramatic Look

For the bold souls who said “subtlety who?” and went all in. Big, expressive, immersive, and unforgettable. If your outfit tells a story the moment you enter the room, then this category is calling your name.

4. Best Regal / Elegant Look

Grace, beauty, and a touch of royalty. This is for the most refined and enchanting look… whether you arrive as a queen, king, fae noble, or something entirely your own flavor of divine elegance.

5. Best Shadow Realm

For the dark, the eerie, the deliciously unsettling. This category celebrates the mysterious and the macabre… the ones who step out of the shadows and bring a chill (or thrill) with them.

6. Best Couple

Two energies dancing as one. Whether romantic, mischievous, spooky, or powerful… this is for the pair who complement each other so well it feels like fate or a well-cast spell.
