Extending Your Harvest: Companion Planting & Cool-Season Crops Presented by Cultured Ag Inc. Saturday, October 18, 10AM -11:30AM
Join Cultured Ag Inc. at Smith-Gilbert Gardens for a hands-on workshop designed to help gardeners maximize their harvest well into the cooler months. We'll dive into the art and science of companion planting, where crops are paired to naturally deter pests, enhance growth, and make the most of your space. Participants will also learn how to transition from summer crops to cool-season varieties that thrive in Georgia’s fall and early winter climate.
Whether you're a new grower or a seasoned gardener, you’ll walk away with practical strategies to boost your garden’s productivity, reduce inputs, and improve soil health. All techniques are rooted in sustainable and community-forward practices.
Bonus: Families will leave with seasonal planting guides, seed starter kits, and companion planting charts customized for USDA Zone 8a.
The fee is $25 for non-members and discounted for members (call for code). Pre-registration is required.
