Combat Veterans 9th Annual Crab Feed Fundraiser

Well. Our group left INCREDIBLY dissapointed in this event running out of crab after 1 tray.
Leaving this review on behalf of the 3 of us.

One.

This was supposed to be a crab FEED. NOT a crab dinner.

The server students were wonderful. All of then were charismatic, and communicative.

But 85$?
For a single tray of crab split between 5 people at the table?? They lolligagged and waited untill 7:46 pm to bring out the first and ONLY trays of crab.
And by 8:25, they were out of crab. Completely.....
One. Tray? Unreal. In less than half hour at an event not even crowded!

We got two half full trays, to equal 1 full tray.
We come to a crab feed HUNGRY and ready to eat our moneys worth of crab. 50$ worth at least.
We are happy to support a good cause and charity. But this is the first one we've left dissapointed and NOT full. :(

TRuly, this was very sad. And it's clear that the payments went toward raffle prizes that they want MORE money for us to PAY for to win instead of on the crab we paid for!
Different prices for raffle tickets 🎟 for at least 50 different prizes.

The event very much spent nearly two hours attempting to fill people up on the starters.
The brisket, that was dry and burnt and not very edible.
Pasta Noodles that are overcooked mush and not seasoned.
The Shrimp was overcooked.

The Bread was tasty, but I didn't pay for bread and salad and that's what it feels like we got.....

And the worst part was that the crab itself was VERY VERY GOOD AND WELL SEASONED!

But
We should not have ended up at a burger King drive through after a crab feed to go to bed FULL for the night.

I Wish this were one of the better feeds we'd been to. Sadly, it was just a crab dinner. Not a crab feed. 😞
I've been to 6 crab feeds, and the boys, over 10. Please label it a crab dinner next year. Crab feeds dont run out of crab 🦀:(

Food was amazing!! Staff very helpful and polite. Good raffle prizes! Good music! I would attend again! And thank you for your service!! 🙏🏼
