Description

Called “a keyboard wizard” by The New Yorker, Bob Malone has amassed a loyal international fan-base through nearly 30 years of touring and nine critically acclaimed album releases. He played keyboards with John Fogerty for 12 years and has been a session player for Ringo Starr and Avril Lavigne. His recording of “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” was the theme in the Illumination/Universal movie trailers for “The Grinch,” heard by millions. Bob combines unforgettable songwriting with an eclectic hybrid of high-energy rock, uptown blues, melodic piano pop, New Orleans R&B, jazz chops and a voice all his own.Video Link: Good People

Crys Matthews, often hailed as “the next Woody Guthrie,” is a Nashville-based social-justice songwriter whose powerful, compassionate lyrics reflect her lived intersectional experience. With her hope-filled album Changemakers, she takes on immigration, the opioid crisis, Black Lives Matter, and gun safety – but always with a warm heart, and a mighty voice. she aims to join heroes like Sweet Honey in the Rock and Holly Near, offering what ASCAP’s Eric Philbrook calls “honest emotions wrapped around socially conscious messages.” Since winning the 2017 NewSong Competition at Lincoln Center, Matthews has performed at major festivals and venues nationwide, delivered a TED Talk on music and dialogue, and continued using her voice as “a drum major for justice,” crafting songs that document and uplift our times. Video Link:Waking Up the Dead
