Buckley Ball 2024

Ticket Sales for the Buckley Ball ended 22 March. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to accommodate ticket purchases as seating and catering numbers have already been finalized.

Please join us for the inaugural "Buckley Ball," an event celebrating the entire Buckley Community and outstanding partnerships throughout the Department of Defense and local community.

DRESS CODE

This is a formal Black Tie event. For military members, mess dress/semi-formal is recommended; formal attire is required for all attendees.

TRANSPORTATION & PARKING

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) complex is located at the corner of 14th & Curtis streets in downtown Denver.

The DCPA Parking Garage can be accessed at 13th St & Arapahoe St. Parking in the garage is $15. Metered street parking is limited but available.

The Seawell Ballroom is located in the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex at the northwest corner of the DCPA. Look for the marquee by the box office to enter and make your way to the second floor following check-in.

The DCPA is approximately a 30-minute drive from Buckley Space Force Base.   

Alternative Transportation

• Use a ride-sharing service
• Use the RTD Trip Planner - Rail lines D, F and H all stop at the Theatre District-Convention Center station and multiple Bus routes stop within one block of the complex.

• Rent a scooter or bike with Lyft and other apps
• A volunteer based ride home - A group of volunteers will be available at the end of the evening to provide safe and reliable alternative for all of Team Buckley to arrive home safely. This program is available for anyone on the installation, spouses, and Department of Defense card holders and can be found in the lobby the night of the event.

LODGING: Spend the Night in Denver

You may consider extending your time downtown for a nice stay-cation. We have partnered with several hotels in the immediate vicinity of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts for deeply discounted room rates.

The Curtis Denver, a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel (0.2 mile from DCPA, 5 min walk)

• Discounted rate of $201 a night; reservations needed to be made by Saturday, March 2

Embassy Suites Denver Downtown (0.3 mile from DCPA, 6 min walk)

• Discounted rate of $189 a night ; reservations needed to be made by Friday, March 15.

CHILDCARE

Childcare will be provided by ROTC cadet volunteers on site in DCPA's Directors Room with limited availability (first come, first served $30/child registration). A separate dinner (pizza & snacks) will be provided for children.
