Loved the sports cars - a great variety to look at!!!
Yesterday was my third visit, and again everything was spot-on. Aside from the displays which are always impeccably presented with very interesting didactics on the display boards, the whole experience is evidenced by attention to detail in so many ways: the dispays, the speed and efficiency of service whether that be on admission or in the cafe, staff or volunteers available to answer questions etc. I have worked in the field of customer value management, and what I have seen on each visit is that there looks to be an ethos of managing the customer's experience, which is complimentary to the displays. I'll be back, and being a motorcycle enthusiast much more than a car enthusiast, particularly if there is a motorcycle flavour to the displays.
Fantastic - great display, venue cafe.
Walking in to the well lit, air conditioned showroom we were greeted by a gated, red V12 Ferrari - what a wonderful start to a happy morning admiring all the sports cars present!
Simply & logically laid out, the upper floor display kept my 11 year old son and myself solidly entertained for the next hour or so.
From some truly vintage cars (a hand cranked Bugatti!) to modern muscle cars (HSV, Mustang & Camaro) the cars on display are clearly well loved by their owners.
A variety of display materials, think individual placards describing each vehicle and selected videos shown on repeat on screens or projectors broke up the visual feast.
The open engine bay of the GT40 was particularly glorious although my son was quite taken by the extravagant side exhaust pipes on the Corvette… right beside a gorgeous, red 60s Mustang convertible.
Happily recommending this to all visitors and we will be back for the next display of all things V8 from June 1 2025.
Kids under 12 entering for free is the cherry on top!
The museum was amazing. All of the cars in the exhibit were exceptional. The volunteers in the museum were brilliant. I was there for the unveiling of the tribute car to ‘The Old Number 1’
If you love cars this is great. Well curated, videos of some cars, detailed information. Fabulous cafe. I brought my grandson who said “l‘m not really into cars”. Next day he said ‘we should go to the car museum again. The chicken Parma is great!”
Easy to order and pay. Then barcode on phone by email to present at venue.
Thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition of sports cars. My twelve year old grandson loved it as well. The venue is easily assessable and parking was free, which is always a bonus. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The cafe offered a great range of food and drinks which were served in a friendly and timely manner. We will be return visitors for sure.
Hi, my friend and I visited the museum and were very impressed with the facilities, premises and the standard of the cars on display, most of which were of a concourse standard.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The only reason for not giving a five-star rating was the coffee was not up to standards.
Nevertheless, I would recommend the museum to my friends and hope the coffee is better next time.
An excellent Saturday morning out. Spent a few hours reading, learning about, admiring and being awed by the fantastic Sports Car Spectacular. A great venue, flexible ticket time and the ability to wander in and out of the expo while making use of the onsite cafe was terrific. A very easy to get to location just off the highway for both north and south Brisbane visitors to the museum. Looking forward to checking out future exhibitions. Friendly staff. 10/10.
