What a great way to spend some time before moving on to our accommodation for the night.
My partner and I arrived into Brisbane, collected our rental car and then left the airport. Before heading north I said to Nigel “I’ve booked tickets to visit a museum before we leave Brisbane”. He had no idea it was this museum. He was more than pleased to find it was a “Motor” museum.
We are both automotive orientated. The vehicles on display were more than we expected. We totally enjoyed our time looking at the cars, motorbikes, etc, and have to say it was the best way to fill our free time before moving on. The volunteers on duty that day were so friendly, informative and knowledgeable too.

What a great museum. Every time we attend an exhibition we are impressed with the array of vehicles.
The food at the cafe is excellent as well. Staff & volunteers are always helpful & friendly.
We enjoy the outing so much, we bought a seasons pass.

Brisbane Motor Museum provides an interesting display of vehicles from many eras of motoring history. The displays vary every few months so it is worth revisiting. The building facilities are first class and there is a substantial cafe for that coffee or light lunch after cruising through the museum. A definite must do for the motoring enthusiast.

Yet another excellent display. This motor museum is not a one off visit museum. With fresh displays of absolutely excellent and often very rare vehicles against a particular theme, all of which changes every 3-4 months there is something refreshingly different to see several times per year.
A superb facility with its own excellent very good café and pleasant staff, ideal for that chat about your visiting experience and other things motoring inclined, it is a must visit venue for any motoring enthusiast.

I found the museum's current exhibition to be excellent not only in it's presentation but in it's variety. Furthermore the cafe and lounge area provides a very relaxing area in which to share a coffee and a bite to eat.
All in all a very enjoyable experience.

Why the indifferent greeting at reception while the phone/voice service was exceptional?
The display was well done and the vehicles a treat.

Great display and we enjoyed going back through time to appreciate the vehicles on display. Well set out and the display of vehicles was first class and bought back a lot of memories. Good clean facilities for you to sit and have some food and a drink and share stories. Recommend to anyone who appreciates history and quality even if they are not into vehicles.
