Beer & Bacon Festival

Much love - great to see the event thrive the way it has and I'll miss you all :)

A large group of family and friends has been attending Beer and Bacon since its inception. The event has really found its footing since locating to the fairgrounds, and this year was great! We won’t talk about the year it was held inside. 😉

We had a wonderful time. A good selection of food and beer.

My first time but it was a great event with lots of choices for beer and bacon bites. The little cup sling was too small to be useful and it would have been nice to have some Sockeye Merch for sale since it is their 30th. I hope to attend next year. My Bacon and Salmon outfit with baconsalmon fishing pole was a hit with many attendees!

I was a bit disappointed that the food was cold, it would be nice if it had been warm.

A bit smaller crowd than previous years but it was still quite fun. Hard to go wrong with Bacon and beer. We'll be back.

My favorite type of beer is of the Belgian variety. Two Belgian samples were displayed as options... including Sherk which I LOVE. Neither could be poured for some kind of hookup issues? That was infinitely frustrating.
Was in shock at the number of drink tickets provided - that's a lot of alcohol! Very generous, and loved seeing some of the higher end barrel-aged options available to sample. Really glad we all opted to ride our bikes to this event!
Food variety was decent, I think the bacon mac and cheese was rather spectacular, winner was probably the bacon wontons (first of the options to run out).
Everybody partaking of the event was pleasant, those pouring /serving beverages were kind - great atmosphere. For the price, this was a win and will certainly repeat. Can't give 5 stars being 0-2 on Belgian options though :)

Had a good time at Sockeye Beer and bacon. Music was good, Beer was great the amount allowed was perfect. My only negative was the food. Food was cold and extremely small portioned however with amount allowed we weren’t starving. What I would suggest is add a few food trucks with bacon forward menus.

We had a great time and enjoyed great beer and bacon. Hopefully next year there will be more bacon booths. Sockeye Brewery, keep up the fantastic work that you’re doing. It doesn’t go unnoticed

I always enjoy this event. I would have liked to have other beer vendors other than Sockeye and more cider options. It would also be great if we were to receive a print out of the different beers with a check box to indicate which ones we've tried. Still loved this year's event, you did a great job. The food was fabulous.
